West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) has checked 10,572 animals. As many as 137 of them are underage.
Underage animals can not be used as qurban animal
“Underage animals can not be used as qurban animal. The body of the animals have been painted as the signed,” said Marsawitri Gumay, head of agency, Thursday (9/8).
Of 10,572 animals, 2,923 are cows, 109 are buffaloes, 6,064 goats, and 936 sheep. The checking was conducted at 184 selling spots at eight sub-districts.
